You can watch the full video below or follow the step by step guide right below the video

Connect to the studio with your account.

Once you have logged in, open the menu entry, “Styles and templates” then click on the button Add New.

You will then create new templates.

You have the possibility to create a few channels , useful for example, if you manage multiple sites, you will need for each site or brand a specific template.

You can create templates by categories.

It means that if you have a few topics on your website, like sports, news, celebrities, etc.

Then you would have the possibility to create templates for each category including color per topic, specific animations, etc.

Let’s start by creating templates that work for any category.

Select the channel you want and click Ok.

Example if you manage 2 sites, then you need to create a channel, each channel will have its own visual identity.

We are entering now in the Smart Templates Tuto.

We call it smart templates, because, when you create stories automatically from your articles, those templates will be used by the robots and simplify your creation work.

Step 1.

We start with cover templates.

Add 3 blank slides.

The cover is the first slide that will be featured in your story.

Simply click on the pre ready cover templates at the top of the page, It’s the 3 first templates.

Let’s create 3 cover templates.

  • One cover with a high zoom image.

  • One cover with a medium zoom image.

  • One cover with no zoom image.

We do that, because the robots will analyze your image structure and select the best matching templates.

Then you can change text, animations, colors, add anything.

Then, add your logo, we recommend a square logo on the high zoom cover and horizontal logo on the other covers.

You’re all set with Step 1.

There are 3 extra sets of templates to create.

  • One set for slides with regular text.

  • One set for slides with quotes.

  • One set for slides with captions.

For each set of slides, again, you will need to create 3 types of templates.

  • One with a high zoom image.

  • One with a medium zoom image.

  • One with a no zoom image.

Step 2.

Let’s create a set of slides with regular text.

Again, add 3 blank slides.

  • One slide with a high zoom image.

  • One with a medium zoom image.

  • One with no zoom image.

Then simply click on the pre ready slide templates at the top of the page.

It’s the 3 next templates after the cover.

Then you can change texts and design, fonts, colors, add anything.

Right click on the text block and check that its attribute is Main, which means regular text.

Step 3.

Let’s create a set of slides with quotes.

Again, add 3 blank slides.

Let’s start with 3 slides templates.

  • One slide with a high zoom image.

  • One with a medium zoom image.

  • One with no zoom image.

Then simply click on the pre ready slide templates at the top of the page.

It’s the 3 next templates after the templates with regular text.

Then you can change texts and images design, fonts, animations, colors, add your own layers, gifs, anything.

Right click on the text block and check that its attribute is Quote, which means that the robots will find a quote on your article and may keep it.

Step 4.

Let’s create a set of slides for images with captions.

We start again with 3 slides templates.

Likewise step 2 and 3, add 3 blank slides.

  • One slide with a high zoom image.

  • One with a medium zoom image.

  • One with no zoom image.

Then simply click on the pre ready slide templates at the top of the page.

It’s the 3 next templates after the quote templates.

You can always edit texts and images design, fonts, animations, colors, add gifs, anything.

Right click on the text block and check that its attribute is Caption, which means that the robots will find images with captions and add them to your story.

Step 5.

If you want to add a slide that will be featured at the end of all your stories, then you can add the Xtra end slide.

Select any image you want.

We recommend you add a vote.

Also add a swipe up link to your stories and add your logo.

Make a review of your templates to avoid any mistakes. Then Save.

And you are all set !
